The IPAA Educational Foundation supports programs that educate the public about the significant contributions that the oil and natural gas industry makes to the American economy and to society. The Foundation provides grants to charitable and educational programs, particularly programs related to energy education, and provides financial support for efforts that build tomorrow’s leaders. The Wildcatters’ Ball is the primary industry fundraising event for the Foundation.

The IPAA Educational Foundation was formed in 1997 and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization supporting charitable educational programs related to energy education.
