The Independent Petroleum Association of America respectfully requests that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration extend the public comment period for the notice of proposed rulemaking on the Definition of Destruction or Adverse Modification of Critical Habitat published in the Federal Register on May 12, 2014.
