Emerging Leaders in Energy

Independent Petroleum Association of America’s (IPAA) Emerging Leaders in Energy program aims to connect young professionals with company executives, financial experts, and key decision makers in the U.S. oil and natural gas industry. Since 2012, the program has grown to more than 1,600 members nationwide. We have held events in Houston, Oklahoma City, Denver, and Washington, D.C. and are always looking for opportunities to partner with other professional associations with similar goals. IPAA’s Emerging Leaders events offer members the opportunity to meet some of IPAA’s leadership and connect with other like-minded young professionals from across the U.S. oil and gas industry for networking, career development, and to learn from each other’s experiences.

IPAA’s Emerging Leaders receive several e-newsletters with valuable updates about the policy issues, hurdles and opportunities facing America’s oil and natural gas industry. Use these updates as a resource to start conversations. Being tuned into your workplace and industry are great ways to meet the right people and be a valued member of your team.

IPAA believes in education and giving students and young professionals the opportunity to develop valuable skills such as public speaking and writing. One of the programs we are most proud of is the IPAA/PESA Energy Education Center. If you are interested in volunteering or serving as a guest lecturer to IPAA’s Petroleum Academies, please e-mail Nikki McDermott Thomas.

This program is a great résumé-builder and it is FREE* for young professionals in the oil and natural gas industry who are under the age of 35. Click the button below and sign-up as an Emerging Leader today!

* Free for first-time members only.
