Jan 7, 2021 IPAA Condemns Recent Violence
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representing the independent producers that develop 91 percent of America’s oil and natural gas wells, Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) President and CEO Barry Russell issued the following statement –
“Since 1929, the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) has witnessed (along with all Americans) world wars, financial downfalls, economic hardship and pandemics. But we have not witnessed the violence seen in Washington this week that threatens the very core principles of our nation — liberty, freedom and tolerance. Along with other leaders in the business community, IPAA condemns these anti-American actions that took place in our nation’s capital this week. Our thoughts are with those impacted by this violence. It is our hope that the country heals quickly and that we work together to heal the division in our nation.”
