The Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) will partner with NASDAQ OMX to combine IPAA’s 15th annual Oil and Gas Investment Symposium (OGIS) London with NASDAQ OMX’s Investor Program, also in London, on June 21, 2011.
“The OGIS events give our members a unique opportunity to address current and future shareholders in a neutral environment,” says IPAA President Barry Russell. “We feel that cooperation with an organization as recognizable and reputable as NASDAQ OMX provides members a unique opportunity to additionally leverage their message into the European Market. We couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity this partnership provides for our members.”
The addition of OGIS presenters will add energy content to the NASDAQ OMX conference and OGIS London energy presenters will join presenting companies from the telecom, media, technology, healthcare, consumer, industrials and material sectors historically featured at the event.
NASDAQ OMX has been hosting investor programs in Europe for more than 15 years. The investor conferences have primarily been held in London, Europe’s largest financial center, and have grown to be one of the largest investor conferences for U.S. Equities in Europe. The event is attended by hundreds of buy and sell-side investment analysts every year.
IPAA has been hosting OGIS programs for 17 years and provides the largest non-commercial, vendor neutral platform available for Energy companies to address investors. Every year more than 100 energy companies present their stories to over 1,000 analysts at IPAA’s four annual OGIS events.
The inaugural combination will feature a limited number of openings for Energy presenters with full roll-out of IPAA’s traditional open-to-all-member OGIS format in 2012. IPAA will continue to market the event to its member companies under the OGIS London banner. Interested IPAA member companies should contact Tina Hamlin (202) 857-4768 email@example.com with inquiries.
