Licensed in Texas and New York, Jeff has more than 25 years of experience representing a variety of clients in the energy and finance industries with secured and unsecured credit facilities, project finance and other structured energy transactions. As the chair of the firm’s Energy Practice Group, Jeff has broad experience in all facets of the energy business with a focus in the merchant energy industry particularly on working with ISDA, NAESB, EEI and other industry form agreements. Victor Mendoza, Managing Partner, Legado Capital Advisors

Mr. Mendoza founded Legado Capital Advisors in 2024. He brings 15 years of Oil & Gas Corporate and Investment Banking experience. Prior to Legado Capital, Mr. Mendoza was the Head of Structured Finance at Donovan Ventures where he launched the ABS strategy in 2021 advising on nearly $2Bn of ABS transactions. Prior to joining Donovan Ventures, Mr. Mendoza was a Director at Société Générale focused on upstream transactions in the Americas (U.S., Canada, LatAm). At Societe Generale he was a key member in the firm’s Offshore Financing buildout which grew to over $2Bn in Commitments in 3 years. Mr. Mendoza has participated, originated, structured over $10 billion of energy transactions. Mr. Mendoza began his banking career in Amegy Bank’s Energy Team. Mr. Mendoza is a graduate from Texas A&M University. He is a Vice Chairman of the Houston Rodeo Parade Committee, a Board Member of Subiaco Academy, and was recently recognized as an honoree in Hart Energy’s Forty Under 40.
