The IPAA team looks forward to an amazing 94th Annual Meeting where we will Connect, Cultivate and Communicate with national speakers, policy makers and industry experts. Join us to hear from industry leaders and key policy makers from Washington D.C. who are making decisions that affect the future of oil and natural gas production in the United States.

GENERAL INFORMATION

All meetings and events will take place at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa.

Admission to Programs and Events

There will be security on site for this meeting. All participants must be registered with proper credentials to access events.

A name badge is required for admission to all conference events.

All meeting sessions and events are open to registered attendees, unless otherwise specified in the meeting program.

Conference Dress

Business casual attire is suitable for all conference events (pants and optional jacket with collared shirt for men; and pants, dress or skirt for women). Ties are not required for any scheduled events.

Weather

Next week’s weather will average in the mid-80s during the day and low 60s at night. Evening functions will be outside. We encourage you to dress in layers so you are prepared for any kind of weather.

Dinner Reservations for Monday, November 6

There is not an IPAA-hosted dinner on Monday night following the Welcome Reception, so be sure to secure a reservation at one of the JW Marriott’s restaurants. Visit the resort’s Dining webpage.

Session Spotlights!

IPAA’s Capital Markets Committee Chair David Baggett (Managing Partner of Opportune LLP) plans to host a session on market opportunities and uncertainties and the challenges facing investors and shareholders. Bob Fryklund, Chair of IPAA’s International Committee and Chief Strategist for S&P Global Commodity Insights, will examine the export markets and discuss the role of exports (and imports) for American producers.

SPECIAL PRE-EVENT WORKSHOP:Crisis Communications

During this session, experts from FTI Consulting will provide an overview of the disaster lifecycle – from preparedness and mitigation to response and recovery – and how companies can prepare for a disruption to their operations as well as the implications of a disaster or emergency event. Attendees will also learn why a company’s communications strategies and operational considerations must be fully integrated throughout the management of a crisis, including media engagement, relationships with stakeholders, and reputation management.
