U.S. Senator John Cornyn, Republican from Texas, and Terry B. Grier, Superintendent of the Houston Independent School District will be the honorees at the Wildcatters’ Ball. The Wildcatters’ Ball is the primary oil and natural gas industry fundraising event for the IPAA Educational Foundation and the proceeds go toward funding the Foundation’s energy education programs. The Foundation was formed in 1997 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Senator Cornyn has been a leading voice in defending Texas against burdensome Washington regulations which could endanger local jobs and he’s championed legislation that promotes the safe and responsible production of our domestic sources of fossil fuels.

Dr. Grier has been recognized for helping HISD decrease dropout rates to a historic low and raising graduation rates to an all-time high and he’s been named a finalist for the 2014 American Association of School Administrators’ “National Superintendent of the Year.”

Please join us on February 7 at the Hilton Americas – Houston for this very special black-tie gala.
