The Houston Geological Society sponsored Geosciences Day at the Houston Museum of Natural Science for the third year in a row.  The HGS docents toured nearly 120 Freshmen Petroleum Academy students and chaperones from Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy along with Westside and Milby High Schools through the Morian Hall of Paleontology, the Cullen Hall of  Gems and Minerals as well as continuing the adventure through the newly renovated Weiss Energy Hall.  Students were also treated to the engineering IMAX documentary, Dream Big 3-D.
