Volunteer Opportunities » Junior Achievement Leadership Series

The IPAA Education Center began its partnership with Junior Achievement in 2008. Professionals from the energy industry volunteer to facilitate Junior Achievement programs in leadership, business ethics and the entrepreneurial skills our students need to pursue successful careers within the energy industry.

As high school students begin to position themselves for a future within the petroleum industry, there are many unanswered questions about what lies ahead. The IPAA Education Center is proud to partner with Junior Achievement and the hundreds of industry professionals who volunteer to bring real-life business experience and guidance into the classroom.

Junior Achievement Topics:
Success Skills – Based on Sean Covey’s “Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens.”
Business Ethics – Fosters student’s ethical decision making, as they prepare to enter the workforce.
Be Entrepreneurial – Students develop the essential components of an effective business plan.
