Barry Russell, President/CEO Independent Petroleum Association of America
Barry Russell is President of the Independent Petroleum Association of America. (IPAA) Mr Russell, joined IPAA in 1980 and also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Association and is responsible for its day-to-day operations.

Doris Richardson, Founding Director, IPAA/PESA Education Center
In 2006, IPAA launched its Education Center in Houston. The Education Center is dedicated to coordinating initiatives in public education and workforce development. The center's Founding Director, Ms. Doris Richardson, is not only a former educator but also has over 15 years of public relations experience in the private sector. Since 2006, Ms. Richardson has created and established three advanced placement engineering, geosciences and global energy management academies within the Houston ISD. In 2009, the petroleum academies expanded to include another four year math and science program within Fort Worth ISD.  

Anne Ford, Director, IPAA/PESA Education Center
Ms. Anne Ford joined IPAA in 2010 and is the Education Center Director responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Center. Ms. Ford has over 25 years experience in workforce development and human resource management in national and global roles in the energy industry and served as a founding member of the IPAA/PESA Petroleum Academy Advisory Board.

Sarah Hewitt, IPAA/PESA Associate Director, IPAA/PESA Education Center, Houston
Ms. Sarah Hewitt joined IPAA in 2008 and is the Associate Director for the Houston area. She was formerly the Director of Secondary Special Education within Houston ISD. Ms. Hewitt is responsible for organizing and coordinating the variety of educational initiatives provided at each IPAA/PESA petroleum academy campus, with a particular focus on the Houston area.

Jessica Thomas, Associate Director, IPAA/PESA Education Center, Fort Worth
Ms. Jessica Thomas joined IPAA in 2012 as the Associate Director for the Fort Worth area. She was previously a business teacher with Fort Worth ISD at the Southwest High School Academy of Petroleum Engineering and Technology. With corporate, non-profit and teaching experience, Ms. Thomas is responsible for organizing and coordinating the variety of educational initiatives for the IPAA/PESA Academy in Fort Worth as well as other inter-Academy initiatives.
